FB Fashion Ball
Grace & Tailor AV delivered full-scale technical production for Fashion Ball, a large-format fashion show hosted at the iconic First Direct Arena in Leeds.
With 700 guests in attendance, the brief was to create a bold, immersive runway environment suited to an arena setting. Grace & Tailor AV supplied a 12m x 4m LED wall, full production lighting, professional sound, special effects and a life-size disco ball to elevate the visual impact of the show.
The result was a high-energy, visually striking fashion show delivered at arena scale.
Corporate Conference – Dusseldorf
One of our corporate clients asked us to deliver their European sales conference in Dusseldorf, Germany – their annual meeting looking back over the previous year’s successes and challenges, and an opportunity to discuss the forthcoming year’s opportunities.
We created a visually impressive two-day event within all available space at the Hilton Dusseldorf (Germany) complete with a 10m x 3m LED screen in the main and 4 breakout rooms for the 150 delegates, who were flown in from the UK, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
After plenary and breakout sessions on day one, delegates were treated to an interactive sharing feast and performance from a jazz band at a cool local restaurant, the Seifenfabrik.
Speakers at the event included German motivational speaker Danielle Freude-Hellebrand, and the breakout sessions showcased staff training solutions using VR.
UCI Road World Championships 2019
When the UCI Road World Championships came to Harrogate in 2019, Grace and Tailor AV worked alongside our sister events agency, Grace and Tailor, to supply and manage the staging, sound, light and AV for the Sports Presentations, the Medal Ceremonies and the Fan Zone entertainment. We installed a large LED screen at the rear of the stage and totem LED screens on either side, meaning high-definition seamless playback of UCI branding and medal ceremonies graphics, and live race footage, as well as streaming highlights of the previous day’s championship events. High spec PA systems were installed to allow live race comment, and live evening headline sets from Jarvis Cocker and The Pigeon Detectives.
329 million people in 124 countries watched coverage of the nine-day long event, according to global viewing figures, meaning Grace and Tailor AV were truly on the world stage.
Corporate Winter Party
Grace & Tailor AV provided full production design and management for our corporate client’s Winter Party, taking place at Leeds Town Hall in 2019.
We transformed the Victoria Hall into a circus-themed visual spectacular with lighting, sound and AV elements including video wall panels and atmospheric lighting.
The event played host to a number of circus performers throughout the night, each with custom lit shows and video graphic designs.
Graduation ceremonies – University Of Central Lancashire
Since 2020 Grace and Tailor have been providing event support and AV services to the University of Central Lancashire. To date, this contract has involved the planning and delivery of 6 graduation ceremonies, 3 fashion shows and Vice Chancellors dinners as well as support for Open Days and celebratory events across several of their campuses. We also provided consultation services regarding Health and Safety and Covid-19.
We have built a strong working relationship with the events team at UCLan; and we are their go-to for any AV or event infrastructure, whether this is sourcing and manufacturing branded props for open days or installing commemorative lighting in memory of Queen Elizabeth II.
We have worked with Grace and Tailor for over five years, and they have consistently delivered exceptional service for our events. They work with us to manage some of our largest and important events, including our graduation ceremonies that happen twice a year.
